Don’t mistake the VVX x50 Series for just another phone. With the announcement of Polycom’s new phones came word that Polycom will begin certifying service providers for their new cloud service, Polycom Device Management Service for Service Providers (PDMS-SP). This cloud service allows service providers to simplify audio device management by using Polycom’s cloud service to monitor all audio devices in the organization.
So we might be talking about phones here, but we’re still in 2018. Trust that Polycom knows what a phone should be and do in the present.
