Job Summary: As our Director of Marketing, you’ll head a high-performing marketing department and team of 2. The Director of Marketing is responsible for collaborating with Leadership and Sales Teams to plan and execute a Sales & Marketing Plan. This plan will help drive net new business and expand Solutionz footprint with existing clients through digital marketing automation programs (in the HubSpot platform), social media, partnership engagement and field marketing efforts. You’re an expert in inbound marketing strategy (a bonus if you have VAR channel experience), you are comfortable driving strategy for technology partners and current clients and you have a deep understanding of sales processes with a marketing mind.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overall marketing strategy, including campaign creation and execution
  • Intracompany relations and strategy with sales, account management, supply chain and program management.
  • Employee management (team of 2)
  • Hubspot management
  • Hubspot/NetSuite integrations
  • MarTech tools
  • Marketing Automation
  • Content management
  • Email workflows and nurturing sequences
  • Email signature marketing
  • Content marketing including content writing and creation
  • Data analysis, including driving strategy based on data-driven decisions
  • Creative strategy, including graphic design work

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited, 4-year university
  • 10+ years of experience of experience in a marketing role, ideally in VAR space
  • 5+ years of proven marketing success in software/professional services sales
  • 3+ years managing employees
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Hubspot, particularly Hubspot workflows and list management; Hubspot CMS experience preferred
  • Experience with intelligence platforms such as ZoomInfo etc.
  • Inbound lead generation strategy expert
  • Knowledge of Account-based Marketing best practices and strategy
  • Intermediate to advanced copywriting skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign and/or Photoshop
  • Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and the rest of the Microsoft suite of products.
