Biamp Sound Masking

Biamp's® sound masking supports speech privacy and prevents unintentional listening, creating more productive spaces that allow employees to focus on their work uninterrupted.

What is Sound Masking?

Overview 

Sound masking is the process of adding a low level, unobtrusive background sounds to an environment to reduce the intelligibility of human speech and reduce noise distractions in that environment.

How Does it Work?

It sounds similar to airflow, but it’s specifically tuned to the frequency and amplitude of human speech to make speech less intelligible. The sound is introduced through speakers installed in the ceiling, creating a blanket of sound.

Sound masking typically reduces the area where speech is intelligible and distracting from upwards of 50 feet to around 15 feet. Workers can still collaborate with their neighbors but are no longer being distracted by conversations on the other side of the office.

One common misconception is that CMMC compliance is the same thing as NIST 800-171. That is not entirely true, especially in the higher levels of CMMC that include requirements from frameworks other than NIST 800-171.

Can Nucleaus make changes to my code?

How long does Nucleaus keep my code?
Nucleaus will NEVER “keep” your code, Nucleaus will only take the results of your scans - just summary information and the store is encrypted. If you cancel your account, Nucleaus will keep your configuration and summary information for fourteen (14) days before it deletes your scan results.

How do I know my data is safe?
