21ST CENTURY COMMUNITY LEARNING CENTERS
The 21st Century Community Learning Centers is a $1.1 billion fund that awards 52 grants ranging between $5 million to $130 million. The following are eligible for funding:
- State Education Agencies (SEAs)
- Local Education Agencies (LEAs)
The funding supports community learning centers that provide academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours for children, particularly students who attend high-poverty and low-performing schools.
