Solutionz to Present at ASTE

On Monday, February 23, Solutionz will be presenting at the Alaska Society for Technology in Education (ASTE) Conference, in Anchorage, AK, which promotes access to technology, connectivity to information resources, and technology integration to all Alaskan educators.

Solutionz VP of Northwest Sales, Shawn Fernandez, and Polycom's Global Education Market Director, Russ G. Colbert, Jr., will provide an hour long workshop for educators on "Video Conferencing: Smart Classrooms for the Future", with a live video conference demonstration on the emerging technological applications of video conferencing for educational institutions. Attendees will learn the various ways educators use and benefit from the latest technology, for distance learning, virtual fieldtrips, recording and archiving of class sessions, teacher shortages, student retention, etc. Attendees will also learn about the "Green" side of video conferencing, and the impact video conferencing will have on making education more collaborative and dynamic for students.
